Essence
Essence is a study in quiet force - an exploration of what is deeply felt yet unseen. It moves through airy fabrics, translucent layers, and purposeful emptiness. Flowing silhouettes bear subtle fractures, highlighted with pearls, lace, pleating, and delicate detailing that reveal depth through absence.
Born from Wang’s thesis at Parsons School of Design, pearls are placed along acupressure points, offering a discreet, tactile form of care. This gesture reflects the collection’s core: emotional resilience rendered in material form. Essence introduces Wang’s design values - healing intention, timeless detail, and a celebration of Asian-American identity - woven into garments that protect as much as they adorn.
